In this week’s shopping edit: Get a peek at the exclusive Saint Laurent accessories you’ll be lusting after, as well as dainty jewellery offerings – perfect for Mother’s Day – from American jeweller Tiffany & Co. and Asian fine jewellery label Lee Hwa Jewellery.
Hedi Slimane may have left his role as creative director for the French maison on April 1, but there are so many reasons why he made Saint Laurent awesome. The high-octane accessories he designed are but one of them. Launching exclusively at its Ion Orchard boutique (#01-25) today, the capsule collection comprises the Opium plexiglas minaudieres, Bijoux python leather crossbody bag and Paloma leather sandals in luxe gold and black finishings we’re sure party animals will covet.
The American luxury jeweller’s design director Francesca Amfitheatrof is the brains behind the Tiffany T collection, which centres on the graphic shape and sharp angles of the letter T. It’s one of the jewellery lines that is now available on Net-A-Porter, the only e-tailer to stock its pieces outside of the brand’s own e-commerce efforts. From US$1,061 (S$S1,430)
The pendant on this necklace is made of the brand’s 19K purple gold, a proprietary material that’s purportedly a world first and connotes a sense of royalty and elegance. The exclusive piece has been specially created for Mother’s Day and retails in stores end-April. Price on request, #02-06/07 Wisma Atria
