Pull Off The Sexy Mini Skirt Trend Like A Pro

History has shown that fortune favours the bold. Some of the most iconic sartorial moments of the pre-social media age belonged to women in their mini skirts. Who can forget how the tiny skirt defined the style of Xtina circa her Dirrty days and Paris Hilton during the early Y2K years?

The desire for shockingly short hemlines lives on this season, not just among proponents like Dua Lipa and Hailey Bieber but also at brands such as Dior which has a ’60s-inflected take and Versace with its party-ready sequinned mini skirts with safety pins.

One brand truly pushing the limits of this skin-baring style is Miu Miu. The brand’s itsy-bitsy redux on the mini skirt trend has earned it a fan page (@miumiuset) dedicated to chronicling the stars wearing the look, who by the way, have included Saweetie and Nicole Kidman.

And if history repeats itself, we’re betting these Miu Miu skirts will reach iconic status further down the road too.
