Nicolas Ghesquiere focused on playing with proportions in his Spring/Summer 2023 outing for Louis Vuitton. That approach extended to show set which featured a massive flower-shaped dome in the Cour Carree courtyard of the Louvre Palace, designed by contemporary French artist and friend of Ghesquiere, Philippe Parreno.

On the runway, it was all about supersizing details one would often overlook; dramatising proportions and silhouettes. Puffed up collars, leather suits with an 3D belt graphic and huge belt buckles were reoccurring motifs in the show. Meanwhile, dainty chiffon dresses were dotted with pearls, sequins or feathers and paired with knee-high chunky boots. Ghesquiere also presented a selection of accessories like a house-shaped bag and crossbody bag mimicking a nametag that were also dramatically resized.
