Its summer collection, out in stores now, features leather goods which mash up both the XL- and miniature-sized iconic pattern in one design. So it’s about time that it’s finally offering a customisation service for one of its most popular style — the Moroccan-inspired Ella — from April 25-April 28. Available as babouche slippers or pointed toe loafers, customers can choose from an array of over 90 fabrics, 70 ribbon trimmings and opt for tassels in three different shades. The sublime portraits of birds by British photographer Luke Stephenson in the photo series An Incomplete Dictionary of Show Birds was so good, Dries Van Noten decided to base his colour palette and feathered designs for his S/S ’19 collection on the photographer’s work.
