After what had been a strong showing at for the past eight days, Paris Fashion Week ended on a high with the unveiling of Miu Miu‘s Fall/Winter 2022 collection.
The brand showcased a collection that evoked a sense of renewal and reinvention – from the return of the buzzy mini skirt, now designed in a genderless manner with different length options to liberating ways of dressing up in underwear.

Below, we give a closer examination of our Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2022 show notes.
Miu Miu’s beloved micro miniskirts from the S/S ‘22 show were back — this time in white tennis-inspired designs as well as distressed leather and plaid micro shorts which gave the style a more grown-up appeal. For a little Miu Miu quirk, note the double belts on the waist.
Thirty-four of the 52 Miu Miu’s runway looks drove home the point that ballet flats and knitted socks are no longer are limited to the dance studio or barre sessions.
Back in the 2000s, the skinny scarf was rocked by everyone from Kate Moss to Hilary Duff. It seemed like Miu Miu was kickstarting the revival of this noughties trend at the show with its own spin in colours like white, navy blue and black.
Miu Miu showed how to take intimate dressing to the next level. Alternative suggestions included flashing hints of shiny satin bloomers above the waistband or donning coloured bras underneath a mesh top or a sheer crystal-encrusted dress.
Besides sending menswear looks once again on the runway after a 14-year absence, Miu Miu also included an all-inclusive and diverse model cast for its Fall/Winter 2022 show. The runway stars comprised different genders and races and included guest appearances by non-binary actor Bridgette Lundy-Paine (pictured), artist George Rouy and the son of musician Bobby Gillespie, Lux.
