by JUNE CHEN  /   May 5, 2017

The heat doesn’t have to render you a sweaty unfashionable mess.

The summer sun is coming…and we all know how that ends up. Sticky, sweaty uncomfortable long days where the air con feels like your best friend. Urgh. Whilst we are dwelling in an unusual cloudy season at the moment, the rays are sure to break through soon. And when they come, they’re relentless. Thankfully, we have the maxi-dress to see us through.

It’s airy, cooling and a fuss-free one piece fashion decision – definitely an alluring factor when you’re running for the bus in 33 degrees heat. *late for your appointment*. What’s this got to do with heat? Stay focused on theme of the story. The dress is a dream for us tropical climate dwellers, but we especially love the ‘off-duty- vibes of a maxi dress: just throw on a snazzy pair of heels or sandals and you’re good to go. So here’s one for all you busy ladies out there, a curated list of 15 maxi dresses that you can rock out in style and combat the heat. You’re welcome.
