Instead of the usual movie date or beach gathering, here’s a refreshing way you can unwind and relax on the weekend. Singapore’s first ever silent outdoor cinema will finally be happening on 5 May at Tanjong Beach in Sentosa and will last over two consecutive weekends.

What to expect: popular award-winning flicks such as A United Kingdom and The Founder, evening sunsets by the beach, drinks at sundown and an array of tantalising food stalls. And if that’s not enough to entice you to join in on this alfresco event, there will also be DJs spinning from 5-7.30pm prior to the movie screening itself so be prepared to revel to your favourite tunes as the sun sets.
