When one brand collaborates with another, it’s a norm in fashion. When three brands tie up with another in a span of one season, it makes the latter hot property. That’s exactly what 91-year-old Italian sneaker label Superga is doing: From now till March, it will launch three design collaborations with Scotch & Soda, Weekend by Max Mara and Sandro. Imran Jalal shows you the looks and styles to add to your dress-down wardrobe.
The blue stripes and piping on these sneakers are a nod to the striking blue colour of the denim pieces created by Amsterdam fashion retailer Scotch & Soda.
Available at Superga stores now, every pair ($149.90) comes adorned with a Superga X Scotch label on the heels, just like the tab on the brand’s pair of denim jeans.
If neutrals are your colours, this two-piece collection in ecru and bold navy stripes ($279) is for you.
They also come with a pretty touch: the butterfly symbol of Weekend by Max Mara. Available from the end of February at Weekend by Max Mara (Level 3 Takashimaya D.S.).
When it comes to easy, casual chic, the French are a pro at it. Which is why the collection that Sandro designed – three for her and three for him – will go with almost anything in your wardrobe.
The women’s pieces in cotton canvas ($160) come in white, off-white and navy, and are finished off with soles in blue, red or burgundy. The collection will launch end March at the Sandro boutique.
