If you think the world of Pucci and Tomo Koizumi is a maximalist’s dream, then a collaboration between these two brands falls nothing short of fashion nirvana.
The Japanese designer has unveiled his 11-piece capsule collection with the Italian house, whose founder Emilio Pucci helped to craft a legacy of extravagance and glamour with his dizzying prints and jubilant brand of glamour.

Tomo Koizumi created 11 designs for this Pucci collection.
The bubbly collection has just launched exclusively on Net-A-Porter for two weeks starting February 22. The outing sees Koizumi – who counts industry insiders like Lady Gaga, stylist Katie Grand and designer Giles Deacon as fans and has landed a spot in The Met’s Camp: Notes on Fashion exhibition in 2019 – bringing to life Pucci’s vibrant and two-dimensional Vetrate archival print as sculptural tulle confections.
Riffing on the Vetrate’s sherbet hues of peach, yellow and pinks, Koizumi moulded yards of organza into cloudlike garments that include a halter top, mini dress, sandals, bag and T-shirt – creating perfect pieces for our post-quarantine dressing.
Ahead, we spotlight some of the designs that you can add to cart if you’re seeking to add a slice of theatrical fashion into your wardrobe.
