If like us, you love great design at great prices, you probably look out for the Uniqlo U collection eagerly every season.
We’ve just received a peek for the Uniqlo U Spring/Summer 2018 collection, the fourth in the range and those who love colours will take to this one – it’s the most colourful one yet. Kelly greens, sky blues, and marigold shades abound in the 96-piece collection (50 for women, 38 for men and 8 in accessories), the first phase of which is slated to hit Uniqlo stores on January 26, with another two to follow in March and April respectively. Prices range from $14.90 for a T-shirt to $199.90 for a coat.
The collection, like always, is exclusive to the flagship store at Orchard Central and online – but selected pieces will be available at the Bugis+, JEM, ION Orchard and Suntec City stores as well.
Here, we take a look at some of the most stylish pieces in the collection:
Green is a major colour for S/S’18 and this rich Kelly green was love at first sight.
I love how the richer shades are counter-balanced with more delicate pastel hues such as this chiffon yellow ribbed dress.
Pair with this high-waisted faded jeans and it’s effortless French It girl a la Jeanne Damas vibes.
See what I mean?
The ideal lightweight jacket for spring travels.
Pair with a white tee and sneakers and you’re good to go.
My favourite piece out of the entire collection, the colour-combination is brilliant while the camp collar-style (the open collar) is smack on trend. Likely to be a hot seller, this one.
This saffron yellow shirt dress intrigues with its lovely hue and is versatile enough for both work and off-duty, no?
Green and pink is always a great colour combination and we imagine this would make a great weekend option.
Striped T-shirts can never go wrong, if you ask me and this one is a refreshing take on the classic black-and-white option.
Who says coats always have to be in muted shades like khaki? This emerald green number goes great with items like the saffron yellow shirt dress or the chiffon yellow cropped top.
Beat the summer heat with this effortless camisole dress – the seersucker fabric means it’ll be extra light and breathable.
Drop your tired old Daisy Dukes and go for these instead – they’re far more elegant.
