Inside The Bvlgari Fiorever Launch Party With Iman Fandi, The Female Collective, Jamie Wu & More

To fete the launch of Bvlgari’s new diamond jewellery line, Female invited six women and friends of the magazine to tag along.

by IMRAN JALAL  /   December 2, 2018

To mark the launch of Bvlgari’s latest jewellery line, Fiorever, the Italian fine jewellery house converted Pollen restaurant in the Flower Dome at Gardens By The Bay into its own flower garden on Nov 29. Walls were decked out in yellow florals of all kind and the space was bathed in the warm glow of neon lights.

All that was a perfect setting for the flower-inspired Fiorever pieces which drops in stores this month. Named after the portmanteau of the Italian word for flower, or “fiore“, and the English word “forever”, the trademark of the collection ($2,500-$48,000) is the four-petal motif on each piece.

That specific petal design is something that’s quintessentially Roman and continues to deck out many of the vestiges of ancient: Cue the garden frescos of Villa di Livia, the sculptures of Palazzo Massimo, and the ceiling mosaics of the Santa Costanza Mausoleum. In turn, Bvlgari turns that botanical theme into dainty pieces with a strong architectural look.

Female invited seven stylish women and friends of the magazine — November cover girl Iman Fandi, silat champ Nurul Suhaila, fashion fiends Jamie Wu and Veronica Chung, Female Collective members Aarika Lee and Charmaine Seah, and entrepreneur Charlotte Chen — to join us for the shindig. Here, we share the snapshots from the night.
