If you’re one for polished minimalist Scandi design, chances are you’ve already heard of Georg Jensen – Danish silverware extraordinaire. The jewellery and lifestyle label, which celebrated its 115th-anniversary last year, has garnered a reputation for producing modern pieces despite its century-long heritage. Think sculptural standalone rings, earrings and necklaces that wouldn’t look out of place on the likes of cool girls like Zoe Kravitz or impeccably stylish Kelly Wearstler (unsurprisingly, she has a collab with the brand).
Fast forward today and one of the defining pieces from Georg Jensen remains its pillowy Curve ring – created in 2006 by long-time collaborator and friend of the brand, the Danish designer and goldsmith Regitze Overgaard. Georg Jensen’s latest offering is the ultimate tribute to Overgaard’s futuristic-meets-organic design and sees an entire Curve collection of necklaces, earrings, pendants and bracelets. Unlike Overgaard’s initial iteration which was produced in sterling silver, the new Curve collection includes a striking combination of the white metal with 18K yellow gold (apparently a first for the brand). Ranging from $215-$15,960, the collection will be available to shop at Takashimaya S.C or at Tangs at Tangs Plaza, as well as on the brand’s online store.
