Enter traditional watchmakers who thrived on this love affair for beautiful things by crafting highly extravagant timepieces which are part horology, part fine jewellery making. One name that stands out for its artistic prowess is 260-year-old Swiss brand Vacheron Constantin. Today, the maison has brought 14 of its heritage timepieces from its private collection for an exhibition at its Ion Orchard boutique (#02-07) from Aug 20 till September 30.
