April 2019 Parties: Marquee's Grand Opening Ft. Tiesto, A '90s Night & A Huge Hip-Hop Spectacle

#1: Marquee Singapore's Grand Opening with Tiesto, 12 April (Friday)
Brought in by nightlife and restaurant brand Tao Group (which also launched Lavo back in 2018), Marquee will finally be making its highly anticipated debut here in Singapore on the 12th of April. To kick off its grand opening, Dutch DJ Tiesto will be helming the decks of the newly opened nightclub nestled at Marina Bay Sands. And that’s not all — watch this space to find out the full lineup of acts. Marina Bay Sands, 2 Bayfront Avenue, #B1-67, 11pm to late. Tickets are priced at $28 for ladies and $38 for men #2: Capital 2nd Anniversary presents Edgeplay — The Pleasure Parlour, 18-20 April (Thursday-Sunday)
Capital Zouk will be celebrating its second anniversary across 18 to 20 April with a stellar lineup of acts. On the 18th, British DJ Christina Novelli and Fred-E will be taking over the decks. Total Recall will take place featuring smash hits from the good ol’ 90s and 00s. To round it up,  South Korean turntablist DJ Sura and Zouk’s resident DJ Lenerd will be helming the decks. 3C River Valley Road, 9pm-4am. If you have nothing on planned on the eve of labour day and you love all this 90s, this is the ultimate shindig to be at. Helmed by DJs Ollie’Des and Bobos, the night will take you through the best of 90s hits for you from Backstreet Boys, to Britney Spears, and even Shaggy. The best part? Here’s one for all hip-hop junkies. Hosted by .Wav(y), this kickass jamboree will feature rappers and hip-hop music maestros like Yung Raja and DJ Prav, as well as up-and-comers. The whole idea of this? To celebrate the hip-hop culture (from fashion to music) across Asia. Zouk Singapore, 3C River Valley Road, 9pm-4am. Tickets are priced at $30 for ladies and men #5: Grey Goose x Bar Rouge Gone Rogue presents: Throttle, 27 April (Saturday)
Seamlessly blending disco, jazz, and hip-hop, Australian DJ Throttle is high in the ranks of the house music circle and has worked with names such as Avicii and Oliver Heldens. This April, the music maestro will be presenting his signature brand of music “Dirty Disco” at Bar Rouge. 2 Stamford Road, 10pm till 4am. Tickets are priced at $30 at the door
