His progressive and signature brand of house music has taken him to festival booths and clubs across Europe, North America and of course, Asia. #5: Altimate

#6: Tanjong Beach Club

Welcome the new year with Tanjong Beach Club’s two-day beach shindig known as Brand New Day. It kicks off at 2pm with funk and soul master JNR TIRSO, who’s part of Singapore’s premiere hip-hop DJ collective Matteblacc. The fun continues with feel-good beach beats from percussionist Zulfahmi Othman all through the afternoon. The dinner presents a choice of pan-seared wild catch seabass from Brittany served with yellow carrot puree, stewed lentils and caramelised baby eggplant, or 48 hours’ sous-vide Tajima wagyu beef short ribs with parsnip puree, glazed French chestnut and sauteed turnip top. #1: The Prudential Marina Bay Carnival

Occupying the 25,000 square metres of The Promontory and Bayfront event space is the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival. With more than 40 rides and games, this carnival will run from 15 December 2017 till 1 April 2018 daily from 4pm-11pm with a special exception on New Year’s Eve when it will start from 3pm to midnight, making it the best place to catch the fireworks. Free entry. The Promontory and Bayfront event space

#2: Esplanade Waterfront

Head to the outdoor concert venue for unblocked views of the fireworks, set against the gorgeous city backdrop. Free entry. Esplanade Waterfront
