Why visit: A beautiful town surrounded by snow-capped mountains, Aspen is a popular destination for celebrities. Bella Hadid went skiing with friends there in December. And it’s far from a quiet, dull place to be in; rather, there are loads of activities and attractions in store, from a summer-long music series dubbed Jazz Aspen Snowmass to the Aspen Art Museum, a home for contemporary art.

Why visit: Florianopolis, the capital of the island of Santa Catarina, boasts over 42 beaches and is a hotspot for surfers looking to catch some waves.
