Party People, The Full Line-Up For Marquee's Grand Opening Is Pretty Epic

When a reputable and revered nightclub like Marquee makes its debut in Singapore, we can only expect a huge grand opening — and that is exactly what’s going to happen in April. Launching on 12 April, the internationally renowned club, brought in by nightlife and restaurant brand Tao Group (behind Lavo) has planned out a month-long worth of celebrations featuring top global DJs.

Above, we give you the breakdown of DJs and accompanying dates to note.

#1: Tiesto, 12 April
The Dutch DJ is no stranger to the music industry, what with having played at numerous music festivals including Zoukout and Ultra Singapore. He will now be taking over the decks on the first official night of the hotly anticipated club, so expect high-energy, progressive house beats and a night of complete revelry. #2: Afrojack with special guest A$AP Rocky, 13 April
Yes, you read that right. All hip-hop aficionados rejoice because the American rapper will be making an appearance alongside the Dutch DJ. A$AP Rocky first debuted back in 2011, and has exploded in mainstream culture with collaborations tapping Kanye West, Future and Mark Ronson. Afrojack has helmed the decks of internationally known music festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival Miami. #3: Above & Beyond, 19 April 
The British trio (consisting of Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamaki) has almost two decades of experience with trance music and have made appearances at Ultra Singapore, A State of Trance and more. #4: Steve Aoki, 20 April
A familiar name in the electronic music dance scene, the American DJ and record producer is known for his kickass remixes, cool collabs and high-energy live performances. #5: Kaskade, 26 April
Said to be one of the most successful American progressive house musicians, the DJ, record producer and remixer has always attracted a discerning crowd thanks to his signature style of baseline-minimal progressive house beats. #6: Showtek, 27 April
Dutch electronic dance music siblings Sjoerd Janssen and Wouter Janssen have dabbled in Electronic Dance Music, Techno, Hardstyle and Hard Trance, allowing the talented duo to create genre-bending beats and have pushed the boundaries when it comes to music.
