#1: Sunshine Nation L!VE presents Jan Blomqvist at Kilo Lounge (Friday, Feb 3)

Berlin-based live electronic artist and producer Jan Blomqvist is teaming up with Kilo Lounge for the first time tonight. As part of his Middle East/Asia tour this year, the German DJ is making a stopover here and will be showcasing melancholic vocals and lush beats. 21 Tanjong Pagar Road, 10pm till late, $35

 

#2: Zouk X Pacha Insane Presents Kolsch and Alex Kennon with Ferng (Friday, Feb 3)

Spinning tonight at Zouk: DJ Rune Reilly Kolsch, who hails from Denmark and has worked with huge artists like Nicki Minaj, Coldplay and Steve Aoki, as well as South Italian DJ Alex Kennon, a regular in Ibiza’s club scene and known for his deep-tech sounds and house music. 3C River Valley Road, 9pm till late, $30 (ladies) and $35 (men) 

 

#3: Bob Marley Birthday Bash ft. Prince Fatty (Saturday, Feb 4)

Local music movement Singapore Dub Club aims to bring the dub/reggae/bass community together by meeting on a monthly basis. This month, it’s working with Canvas to honour legendary Jamaican singer-songwriter Bob Marley’s 72nd birthday. On the roster: UK-based acclaimed reggae producer Mike Pelanconi (aka Prince Fatty) as well as Malaysian-based rasta singer and host King Lhota. 20 Upper Circular Road, $30 

 

#4: Smack My Beach Up with DJs Phat Phil Cooper and Jean-Baptiste Berchoteau (Sunday, Feb 5)

Tanjong Beach Club’s upcoming Smack My Beach Up party will host Bali-based DJ Phat Phil Cooper, who’s been a regular at superclubs such as Liverpool’s Cream and Ibiza’s Amnesia. He’ll be spinning his signature hot house and deep disco beats alongside Jean-Baptiste Berchoteau, founder of The Jam Parlour party events, which aim to support underrated local DJs. 120 Tanjong Beach Walk, 4pm till late, book your daybeds here 

 

#5: 1-Altitude’s Carnival In The Sky and Altimate’s Valentine Carnival (Friday and Saturday, Feb 10-11)

Resident DJs Leonard T and Jack T will be delivering hip hop and progressive EDM music for two nights at 1-Altitude’s alfresco bar. The party continues at Altimate after 10pm, where local guest DJ Eclipse will deliver his signature electro-pop and R&B dance tunes. Celebrate Valentine’s Day by ordering a limited edition bottle of Moet Rose Imperial “Emoeticon” (it’s going for $180++) and snapping wefies at the club’s pop-up photobooth.  1 Raffles Place, 6pm till late, $40
