Zouk Is Holding Its First-Ever Fun Run In November

Ravers, here's your chance to light up Singapore streets with your sick moves.

Athleisure is a trend that’s not going away anytime soon, thanks of the rise of millenial It girls like Gigi and Kendall who have made keeping fit fashionable and the cool fashion labels that have been producing hit collaborations with sportswear brands (Alexander Wang x adidas Originals next Spring, anyone?).

Iconic nightclub Zouk is cashing in on the trend with its inaugural Zouk Run on Saturday, November 5. Held in the vicinity of its iconic Jiak Kim location where it’s called home for 25 years, the 3km run is a way for revellers to relive the good old days before the club moves to its new Clarke Quay venue.

In keeping with its dance party theme, participants can choose one of four themed race packs embodying various personalities which will sound awfully familiar to Zouk regulars: the Mambo King, the Podium Queen, the Shuffler and The Musichead. Each race pack has a specially designed t-shirt and a party prop you can wear all night long, and you’ll even get a medal when you complete the race.

What else is waiting for you at the finish line? An after-party at Velvet Underground, with complimentary entry for all race-goers above the age of 16. Those above 18 can also enjoy free entry to all dance rooms in Zouk. Start prepping your OOTD (we recommend these sporty separates) for one memorable night out. $42 each (early bird prices), buy tickets here.
