Attention Beyhive: Beyonce is treating us to a music video for ‘Summer Renaissance’, the disco anthem from her groundbreaking 16-track album Renaissance that was released on July 29. The minute-long clip is technically for the Lose Yourself In Love campaign by Tiffany & Co., and has been described as an “anthem film”. Nevertheless, it is the closest thing to a music video that Beyonce is giving her fans from the album – which up to now has only been accompanied by lyric videos.

The crystal-festooned horse that Beyonce rode on the cover of the Renaissance album makes an appearance in her Tiffany & Co. Lose Yourself In Love campaign – as a nod to the iconic moment when Bianca Jagger rode a white horse inside Studio 54.

Directed by American filmmaker Mark Romanek (he’s also a frequent collaborator of Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z), the slick black and white video captures the escapist and hedonistic era of Studio 54 and portrays Beyonce as the epitome of a “transcendant icon” on the dancefloor. The cast of 90 members comprised an inclusive posse of dancers – all of whom were decked out in pieces from Tiffany & Co. such as the Elsa Peretti Bone cuff and Tiffany HardWear sautoir necklace.

The Tiffany HardWear chain necklace Beyonce wore in the video was specially made for the Lose Yourself In Love campaign.

Of course, as the star of the film, Beyonce was dressed in some of the best jewels the brand has to offer. These include a Tiffany Setting engagement ring in platinum with an internally flawless, round brilliant diamond of over 10 carats and designs by famed Tiffany & Co. designer Jean Schlumberger. She also donned a custom Tiffany HardWear necklace that will be available for purchase.

Can someone give this queen a round of applause?
