Is it just us or are teens kicking butt these days? Cue the 17-year-old environmental superstar Greta Thunberg; our soon-to-be-18-year-old April 2020 cover star Talia Ryder; 17-year-old Tiana Day who led a Black Lives Matter protest across the Golden Gate Bridge; and the cast of Netflix’s recent reboot of The Baby-Sitter’s Club. Without a doubt, there is a massive youthquake happening right now.
At Danish jewellery label Pandora, that brush with Gen-Z energy comes in the form of its partnership with 16-year-old wunderkind Millie Bobby Brown. The Stranger Things actress is launching her collaboration with the brand as part of the Pandora Me collection (from $29) which drops today and features trendy designs like a boyfriend chain necklace and bracelet.
Brown’s designs comprise five *coughs* teeny designs that include dangle charms and a single ear stud. The cutesy charms – a starfish, pineapple, flamingo, and ocean wave – and the sea turtle-shaped earring will be available in limited quantities and will strictly retail from now till Dec at the Pandora stores and e-site.
For an idea on how to rock your bijoux in a carefree youthful way (check out the pineapple charm on the hoop earrings above), simply wipe the lookbook images above. Yes, we were serious when we said these young guns are killing it.
