Cartier Paris Nouvelle Vague
Cartier Paris Nouvelle Vague

Two years ago, Cartier debuted its Paris Nouvelle Vague line to pay tribute to the French capital. What it really showed was its fun side: graphic pieces in a mix of coloured stones, each inspired by a Parisian landmark. Recently, it added 25 styles, including cocktail rings, pendants, and bib necklaces (from $8,850) in the same playful aesthetic.

Highlights include a necklace inspired by the “love lock” bridge

Apart from drawing from some of the city’s liveliest sights (the Pont des Arts “love lock” bridge, fireworks on Bastille Day), it’s introduced stones like blue chalcedony and black jade.
