Why know it
It specialises in jade that is embellished with precious metals and gemstones, and has essentially turned what is typically associated with “aunties” into modern, statement pieces.
To commemorate National Day, the brand has launched two collections, Shophouse and Peranakan Flower, which are deeply steeped in Singapore culture and heritage. Drawing on the pastel hues typically found in Peranakan shophouses, the Shophouse collection (above) sees the use of rose quartz, and light blue and light green chalcedonay gemstones picked for their delicate shades.
Intricate flower motifs, specifically those found on batik textiles, make up the Peranakan Flower collection (above). Pieces are dotted with various semi-precious stones like rhodolite garnet, pink amethyst, and white topaz.
