Four-year-old American accessory label Jet Set Candy, which launched in Singapore this May at Level 1 Takashimaya D.S. and multi-label boutique Mimento (#B2-17 Capitol Piazza), specialises in making playful and stylish pieces for folks with an insatiable wanderlust.
Founder Nicole Parker King, an avid traveller herself (she’s been to almost 50 countries across six continents), launched the brand after realising that she wanted non-tacky mementos that reminded her of each destination she visited. The result: A collection of charms, pendants, bracelets, earrings, and rings in a variety of iconic features and designs that are representative of almost 70 countries.
Each piece is meticulously designed and crafted from sterling silver, 14k vermeil (gilded silver) or solid gold. And while they’re priced at a premium (prices range from $50 to $655), these are collectables you’ll love to add as a fond memory of your travels. Our picks: the 14k solid gold luggage tag charms bearing international airport codes, and intricate pendants with moving parts, like a Singapore Sling cocktail shaker (the lid can actually open) complete with a detailed recipe tag.
