One thing Italian jewellers are famous for: They do not penny-pinch on glam. What’s less heard of are those that do so with a modern eye. For the holiday season, the label takes its inspiration from the Brazilian beach capital of Rio with its Ipanema collection. You might be thinking Rio x Italian = Super flamboyant, right? But the result is far from that, thanks to the organic shapes of rutilated quartz (these rare stones come with fine needle‐like crystal inclusions that have more sparkle), mixed with brilliant-cut diamonds. It looks more like sci-fi gems from a Luc Besson flick actually.
