Unlike Tik Tok duets, there are some pairings we can’t get enough of – like the one between Apple and Hermes. For the sixth edition of this successful collaboration which began in 2015, the two companies have introduced the Apple Watch Hermes Series 6 which looks to be the most exciting rendition of the watch yet.
For a start, the Series 6 branches into two different lines of stainless steel tickers. The first features the Apple watch – in a 40mm ($1,749) or 44mm case ($1,829) – that comes with interchangeable single tour leather straps in a refreshed six-colour palette not unlike vibrant Matisse-esque hues. The colours range from a berry pink called piment to orange to a punchy green called bambou.

The second version of the Series 6, is made for the true blue Hermes fiend who appreciates the maison’s leathermaking expertise. Dubbed the Hermes Attelage as a nod to equestrian harnesses, this new design features a case with extended lugs that give the timepiece a vintage-inflicted look.
The watch comes with the option of a 44mm model with a single tour strap ($1,829) or a 40mm model with a thin double tour strap ($1,979) in a smooth fauve-coloured Barenia calfskin which is known for its white top stitch and how it develops a beautiful patina over time (read: wear it more often). But it’s not just the exteriors that impress.

Internally, the Hermes Attelage is equipped with a more powerful processor and snazzy new features such as a blood oxygen sensor (health matters now) and always-on altimetre (we’re not sure if you need it in our country’s topography, but nonetheless, it’s a nifty function to have).
The Apple Watch Hermes Series 6 will be available at Hermes’ stores in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya S.C., as well as online via hermes.com.sg, from Sept 18.
