What: The super popular range of Return To Tiffany charm jewellery collection debuts a refreshed look as it celebrates its big 5-0 this year. Launching this month, the Return To Tiffany Love Bugs line features over 10 sterling silver and gold designs spanning necklaces, rings, chandelier earrings, pins and brooches and boast the line’s quirkiest look yet. An abstract-looking butterfly is perched on a ring, a ladybug looks like its tumbling on the quartz gem on a ring, while flower petals and wings of bugs resemble folded origami paper and engraved with the line’s trademark “Please return to Tiffany & Co. New York” inscription.

Why bother: The pieces are a youthful riff on the garden theme that anchors most of the maison’s spectacular flora- and fauna-inspired jewellery designs (think the Schlumberger pieces). But what’s most striking about this year’s update to the Return To Tiffany range is the departure from its familiar cutesy hearts, lock and charms aesthetic.

While there has been updates through the years, such as last year’s more fashionable facelift with Pollock-esque enamel splotches. But even these tweaks featured the signature heart charms and chains.
