With the help of wardrobe designer Claire Anderson, his team worked with Swarovski to deck out the royal characters in an 111-piece ensemble of ’40s-style baubles. They tapped mostly on Swarovski’s archival pieces like belt buckles, brooches and hairpieces, including those that the brand made for names like Italian jewellery Atelier Marangoni and Lanvin. Also on display: 27 replicas using Swarovski crystals for pieces like the Queen’s sapphire engagement ring and the ‘V’ brooch that the super adorable Princess Margaret, played by Bel Powley, wears in the balcony scene.
