When it comes to maximalist chic, no one aces it quite like the Italians. Bvlgari proves that point with its newly opened Ion Orchard boutique that blends sleek mid-century furnishings with glamorous Roman decor influences.

Architecture by Peter Marino? Check. Intricate Gio Ponti chandeliers? There are two. Grand Roman influences like marble and travertine column? These interplay with the large store windows and a bronze screen inspired by the floor of the Roman Pantheon.

To fete the opening of the store, Female hosted about forty of the magazine’s closest friends for a private party on the evening of Dec 13. To complement the mood and vibe in store, “Pop” was chosen as the theme for the night. Guests including Female Collective member Aarika Lee and vintage retailer Azzurra La Mantia turned up in their brightest pop hues, while ’90s pop tunes fuelled the entertainment.

Here, we’ve montaged the scenes from the shindig.
