Legs For Days: The Semi-Sheer Stocking Look You Need To Try

This trend isn't for the faint hearted - shake things up with a semi-sheer pair of stockings that's bound to make a statement

Wool pants, denim jeans and Uniqlo heattech leggings are probably your go-to pieces to keep warm when the temperatures drop. So who would think of wearing semi-sheer or sheer stockings? Designers have obviously gotten tired of keeping all covered up, and with a whole lot of grit you can most definitely rock a sheer legging out in the cold. If you’re in the tropics like we are, then lucky you. Leggings that feature texture, color and pattern are making a strong comeback, and are perfect to wear with flirty dresses and sexy skirts.

Seen at Gucci, Michael Kors and Saint Laurent, have fun with this trend that shows a hint of skin. Draw attention to your legs with monogrammed tights – such as those seen on street style stars. For added quirk,  keep warm by layering up on all of your knitwear – use a sweater as a scarf, match your scarf to your sweater, and wear a coat in the same shade. If you find stockings too troublesome, try semi-sheer socks (a la Miu Miu) that are low-commitment yet standout.
