Who’s behind it

Pieces are all designed by Zouk’s creative head Heng Sihui (above), who started the label last September to fill what she saw as a gap.

“As Asians, we are generally a little more traditional as compared to the western countries. Lingerie or boudoir photography is still considered somewhat taboo, and lingerie brands aren’t as widely advertised as compared to other clothing lines. Not many designers would want to dive into a market that is not that established, but my goal is to fill this gap.”

Why know it

Say goodbye to nasty underwire marks: Naked and Unbound is all about comfy satin and lace soft-cup bras. Made in Singapore, the lingerie pieces are all priced affordably (between $39 to $62). Style them right and you can even wear the pieces as outerwear or have them peeking out of your shirt as an accent.

What to expect in F/W ’16

Three lingerie collections on, the brand has added loungewear – satin robes, slip dresses, blouses and shorts – to its offerings. Wear them when lounging at home with a glass of wine or for a fun night out.
