True fashion fans should not miss out on the new Balmain boutique which just opened this month. Also the French luxury brand’s debut standalone store in Southeast Asia, the store carries men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, bags, shoes and accessories. The French fashion house opened its first ever standalone ephemeral boutique in Singapore just last month as the permanent store undergoes renovation. Extending over 3,000 sq ft, the space draws inspiration from the legendary Ritz Paris itself. As of press time, the pop-up boutique will be present until about November – look out for a visual change come early August with the debut of the Pre-Fall 2017 collection. #B1-142, The Shoppes at Marina Bay, 2 Bayfront Avenue
French luxury label Chloe returned to our sunny shores in May after a four year absence with a brand new 1,980 sq ft boutique. Featuring an expansive glass storefront, the boutique carries the full range of products including ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, jewellery, sunglasses and fragrances. Home-grown luxury leather goods and accessories brand Kwanpen has tripled the size of its flagship boutique from its previous 807 sq ft space to a new 2,550 sq ft location. With renovations expected to complete late this month, the store will carry the largest availability and selection of Kwanpen collections, where the label’s signature bags will be showcased in a polished, brass-trimmed space. #B2M-230, The Shoppes at Marina Bay, 2 Bayfront Avenue
Italian lingerie brand La Perla opened a brand new 1,960 sq ft boutique in the heart of Orchard back in May. The new store houses three rooms outfitted with pure white marble floors, geometric patterns and metallic accents, while sinuous velvet furniture completes the space. Apart from the brand’s signature lingerie, other apparel and accessories such as ready-to-wear, sleepwear and beachwear are also available. #02-12G, Takashimaya S.C., 391 Orchard Road
The French label recently re-opened its flagship store in Ngee Ann City, carrying an extensive range of women’s ready-to-wear, furs, handbags, shoes and accessories as well as men’s leather goods and accessories. The store also features a private VIP room, a first in Singapore. To celebrate the opening, the brand launched exclusive, limited edition velvet Peekaboo bags reflecting the house’s signature tapestry weaving technique and whipstitch detailing. #01-30/32, Takashimaya S.C., 391 Orchard Road
Contemporary womenswear label Coast recently unveiled its refreshed retail space at Paragon earlier this month. Spanning 1,072 sq ft, the new store look is created in collaboration with renowned design agency Checkland Kindleysides from the UK, featuring luxurious finishes and neutral tones for a calm and inviting atmosphere. Covering a whopping 3,120 sq ft, the new space currently provides a thorough selection of the label’s Pre-Fall 2017 collections, including men’s and women’s bags, shoes, leather goods, eyewear, timepieces and fragrances.
