It’s not news that collaborations are one of the hottest commodities in fashion these days and the latest entrant is Italian leather goods giant Tod’s, which has just announced the launch of T Factory, a program which will tap on “talents from all areas of creativity” to give their own spin on Tod’s DNA.

Alessandro Dell’Acqua

First up? Veteran Italian designer Alessandro Dell’Acqua, who heads Rochas and No.21 — both known for a delicate, whimsical brand of femininity. On his part, Dell’Acqua came up with pieces such as pointy-toed ballerina flats and low-heeled ankle boots — and all come complete with Tod’s signature ‘gommini’ (pebble sole).

While there’s no official word yet on when they hit stores, stay prepared for more of such tie-ups to come.
