For a fun spin on can-you-match-it games found in activity books, we’ve put together a series of classic bags from some of our favourite fashion houses. Your job: match the latest iterations of these classic bags with their right descriptions (P.S. answers can be found in the last slide). Stayed tuned for more to come in this series.
1. The 30 Montaigne
A boxy shoulder bag that pays tribute to the past (the “CD” clasp, its name that references the address of the brand’s historic HQ) yet possesses a youthful joie de vivre with its compact shape and latest finishes that include navy calfskin printed with hearts.
2. The Lady Dior
Possibly the maison’s most famous bag, named after the late Princess Di who was spotted carrying the elegant handheld number in 1995. Its latest update is embroidered with an inverted version of another Dior signature: the charming floral-and-fauna Toile du Jouy motif.
3. The Caro
The newest addition to the Dior family that marries the brand’s famous Cannage quilting and an oversized “CD” clasp on a trendy chain-and-leather strapped shoulder bag.
4. The Bobby
A sophisticated messenger that gets its name from Monsieur Dior’s pet pooch, introduced last year and given a cool matte black makeover this season.
5. The Book Tote
So omnipresent, it seems like it’s always been a part of the maison – except that it launched only three years ago, attesting to its appeal that includes a playful range of finishes such as leopard-print embroidery for Pre-Fall.
6. The Saddle
Debuted in 1999 then revived in 2018 only to remain a paradigm of ’90s chic.
