You don’t just celebrate love on Feb 14. Dior should know: the heart motif, and the colour red, has been central to the maison as a good luck charm since the time of Monsieur Christian Dior. Last year, Maria Grazia Chiuri paid homage to that tradition with the launch of a capsule collection called Dioramour that centres around the concept of l’amour.

For its second edition this year, that launched on July 23 to coincide with Chinese Valentine’s Day, the brand has set up a showcase at Level 1 of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. This year’s designs centre around a red polka dot pattern as well as graffiti prints with the words “I Love You” interpreted in several languages.

The Dioramour pieces we’re loving

These lively motifs appear on designs such as the Lady Dior, Lady D-Lite, Dior Book Tote, and 30 Montaigne Box handbags; the D-Connect sneakers; the Mitzah scarves; and ready-to-wear pieces like nylon parkas, sweaters and tulle skirts. For those who want to personalise the ever-popular Book tote, the brand is offering a customisation service too (this will take four weeks to complete).

Remember to book your appointment before heading down to the Dioramour showcase.

If you’re gushing over these romance-induced items or would like to purchase a Dioramour as a gift for your loved one, the showcase will run till August 23. Due to social distancing measures and to avoid long queues, customers would need to make an appointment for their slots via the hotline 1800-4159-990. Alternatively, the collection is also available at all Dior boutiques now.
