Loewe has just launched a meaningful update of its signature elephant mini bag in support of the Elephant Crisis Fund, an initiative that goes towards the prevention of the cruel act of killing elephants. Credit for the intricate beadwork on the bag goes to women from the Samburu Workshop at Ol Malo, Kenya, which draws reference to the memory recall technique of tying knots and an elephant’s impressive ability to remember things. This limited edition bag ($2,290) is available on www.loewe.com and all proceeds go towards elephant conversation projects in Africa and Asia. Guilt-free shopping, anyone?
