Hailing from the same entertainment company as multi-hyphenated — and very stylish — stars G-Dragon and CL, the South Korean girl group member of Blackpink has only been in the industry for two and a half years, but has already been the first to release a solo single since the group’s debut, and gain the attention of many — including luxury beauty brands.

At just 23 years old, Jennie is the ambassador for Chanel Korea and attends the maisons’ international events such as the fragrance launch of Les Eaux De Chanel in Deauville, France, and their S/S ’19 runway show in Paris — seated in the f-row next to longtime friend of the house, Pharrell Williams no less. She’s also fronted a series of videos for the French beauty brand in late 2018.

And just this month, the young star has been appointed by Korean beauty brand Hera to join Gianna Jun as the brand’s ambassador and is reportedly scheduled to officiate brand activities from February 2019. The duo will be fronting all domestic and international markets together to promote Hera’s urban brand identity.

It’s not hard to see why — Jennie also oozes a youthful, pretty but yet sophisticated appeal. And if you peruse her Instagram account (which has amassed a following of 12.3 million followers in a span of seven months), the South Korean singer is known for her clear, flawless complexion, and is versatile when it comes to pulling off both minimal and bold makeup looks.

What’s next for the South Korean It girl? Blackpink‘s world tour in Singapore on 15 February. And probably even more brands eager to have her as a face.
